I had originally thought this little set would become something bigger, so it’s been sitting around half-done for awhile now, but ‘tis the season, so I’ll just release what I have! Hey folks! I often receive messages about my older content like beds and couches not placing properly in your game. That’s because of the Cats and Dogs patch from November 2017, and you just need to run the appropriate batch fix with Sims 4 Studio to fix the issue.
Yes, I did elect to not update all my downloads. A lot of the items I don’t even have anymore, so I would need to go through every post, re-download them, run them through the batch fix, re-upload them, & change all the links. Then the 1000+ reblogs would all still have the wrong link anyway and I would still get the messages. It seemed like an effort that wasn’t worth it on my end, so I do apologize.
For anyone who downloads older content from prior to November 2017, just remember to run the batch fix with Sims 4 Studio! There’s loads of written and Youtube tutorials on how to do so, and I believe S4S is a vital tool for anyone who has CC in the game, not just for creators. Those batch fixes will likely fix a lot more content in your Mods folder than just my own, and will honestly be less effort for you as well, rather than having to go through and redownload any item of mine that was causing you issues. 💛 Hope that helps!
Okay well no, it’s not really a twist. Just a second version! This is the same door as earlier, but with white trim instead and a brighter color palette. It’s made on a base game door. Enjoy!

Did you know that there is only one EA door with a normal door knocker, and it was only just added to the game with Strangerville? & did you know that prior to Strangerville, there was also only one door with a letter slot, and it was a clear glass office door that came with Get to Work? Yeah. EA hates classic front doors apparently, because there sure aren’t any in game. Slowly but surely I’m gonna fix that I guess. 😆 This door is base game!

Hey folks! Still obsessed with doors over here. I have an inspo folder of doors I want to make, and it keeps getting more out of hand as every week goes by. 😅 Today I combined 2 doors, adding the solid woodwork from a Jungle Adventure door onto the base game goodness of a simple single-tile door. It comes in 26 swatches, also a combo deal of @mlyssimblr‘s EA Wood Palette, and the colors I used on my Shut the Front Door set. Enjoy!

I always feel a lack in the ‘front door’ department when I’m building, because nothing that comes with the game really looks like what I see around where I live. So today I took a plain door that came with Get Together (required), and added a letter slot and kick plate to make it a classier door that you’d love to have on the front of your home! Comes in 15 swatches.
